IGIA / IATF Meetings (Washington, D.C.)

•    Administrator Lorilee Crisostomo and Chief Planner Mike Gawel attended.
•   Coordinated with US EPA’s, regular, repeating participants: John McCarroll (in Infrastructure Group) and Nate Lau (Co-chair of Environmental Group), as well as US F&WS and US NOAA.
•    Progress in arranging for obtaining new planning information from JGPO
•    Federal staff expressed increased possibility for funding for urgent Government of Guam C/MTF needs


Federal Regional Council Meeting (San Francisco, CA)

•    Administrator Lorilee Crisostomo and Chief Planner Mike Gawel attended.
•    First time for Guam EPA to attend FRC
•    Brought in Nate Lau of US EPA Region 9, who is active in IGIA/IATF and in Guam Military Partnering and Guam EPA/DOD/US EPA Environmental Forum regular meetings.
•    Participated with US EPA at Region 9 Headquarters in several technical meetings related to military build-up on Guam and coordination between Guam EPA and US EPA.  Simon Sanchez and Larry Perez participated, as well.

Guam Industry Forum

•    The Chairperson of Environmental Subcommittee and eight Guam EPA staff attended and provided information to participants in one-on-one informal discussions.
