With the anticipated military buildup and the population increase of 40 percent of military personnel, families, and labors, it is expected to present many complex challenges to the Guam Fire Department.  In addition to the challenges that GFD is currently providing services too, the expansion of our community also presents to the departments many opportunities to continue to deliver the highest level of service and standard of care building on established public confident and trust.

The Guam Fire Department anticipates increases  of service delivery to be impacted in the  areas of :

Fire Prevention, Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Services, & Rescue where the concentration of incidences in recreational (Land & Open Water) activities, traffic and vehicular accidents, Public Fire Safety Awareness and Education, and Suppression of Fires attributed through incendiary and/or  accidental determination and cause.
