Overall Information:

•    Health agencies continue their respective work on 2010 budgets for build-up.  All agency heads provided reminders of timelines when budgets are due.   
•    Hospital has submitted their proposed CIP budget for 2010.
•    Public Health Division of Environmental Health and Division of Public Health, Bureau of Communicable Disease reviewed draft budget proposal.  Internal deadline of February 21 to submit next progress update
•    No budget update received from Mental Health and DISID for this week reporting.
•    Agencies to participate in next week’s HSS sub-committee meeting
•    Information confirmed with Naval Hospital that presentation will be made concerning its construction/expansion of the Naval Hospital at next HSS sub-committee meeting.

Priority 1:  Strengthening Workforce Capacity

To date no industry standards provided on workforce.  However, will continue to use information provided on baseline standards at the departments when calculating their budgets.

Priority 2:  Capital Improvement

Hospital has provided their draft CIP proposal.
