Overall Information:

• Health Agencies, with exception of DISID, participated in Budget briefing with BBMR Director
• HSS Chair provided information and reminders to Agency Heads concerning due dates for 2010 budget
• HSS Chair providing assistance for Health Agencies by preparing budget worksheet for their calculations.  Chair is working on a budget form and will provide to Agency Heads next week for their consideration for use
• HSS ASO’s and Planners who participated in meeting are aware of requirements.

• Hospital and Public Health participates in CIP workshop sponsored by the BBMR.    Mental Health unable to send representatives due to public forum on their Permanent Injunction. 
• HSS Chair provides update on CIP meeting to Agency Heads
• CIP forms will be submitted separately from OMB

Priority 1:  Strengthening Workforce Capacity

Public health started work on gathering national standards for health and behavioral health.  Information to be included in next Needs Assessment update and proposed 2010 budget.  To date, no information has been provided.

Priority 2:  Capital Improvement

All Agency Heads provided CIP Guidance documents for their CIP plans.

Priority 3:  Increase Funding for Infrastructure and Services

Nothing to report this week.

Priority 4:  Regulation, Licensing and Insurance

Nothing to report this week.  Licensure numbers not ready for distribution.
