Port Authority of Guam (Chair) Guam International Airport Authority Guam Customs & Quarantine Department of Agriculture United States Coast Guard US Customs and Border Patrol US Department of Agriculture Port Users Group Surface Deployment Distribution Command Mission Statement - As a subcommittee to the Civilian/Military Task Force, the Ports and Customs Subcommittee’s mission is to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of cargo and passengers, as well as identify agency resources needed to accommodate the increase in port traffic. A subcommittee meeting was held on April 20, 2007 to discuss and finalize the subcommittee’s comments for final submission to the Bureau of Statistics and Plans for compilation and submission to the Joint Guam Program Office. The members submitted their individual comments, specific to their agency/organization’s concerns. Most attended the public meetings on the EIS/OEIS Scoping April 17 and 18. Also discussed were the concerns and potential impacts of the expansion, and the resources needed by our agencies to handle the increased work associated. Requests were added to the matrix of identified projects and programs for the military expansion. Issues Brought-up in Discussions –
